Jojo V was more fun than I was led to believe

I spent Friday evening in proximity to Rob and Lexa, and about 6 hours on Saturday in direct contact with them. Saturday's activities included walking in the rain, consuming pizza, taking almost 300 pictures (over half of which were later deleted), and playing almost an entire game of History of the World.

Pictures will be forthcoming after Rob confirms he he likes how he looks in them.

I sat behind a pair of middle-aged guys on the metro who were having a heated argument about the economy, the definition of recession, how popular opinion shapes language, and more about the economy. It was one of the most entertaining things I've seen on a metro train. It ranked up there with the acrobats, the passed out drunk guy, and the 3rd place winner of it DC 2008 idiotarod.

My status message: ABBA remixes are fun, man. Call me fruity if you like.

Steph N: the fact that you would make such a statement- and believe it- while completely free from the influence of any drug or alcohol is an indication of a truly unusual personality

I had, for the first time in what must be years, a multi-hour conversation with Didi beyond midnight about life in general. It was fun, refreshing, and rather delightful to do so while she was on happy drugs. :P

Saw Jake and Rebekah at church today. They recently returned from their honeymoon to some fantastic vacationland where there was moose and moxie and Acadia national park. Jake and I are fairly close as far as guys at GCC and I go. He's the leader of my small group, but not the terribly high and mighty sort, you know.

Boredom and a lack of ice cream inspired a 4pm hike to Giant. When JJ, Billy, and I returned, we had no ice cream. We did, however, have 0.75 gallons of sherbet, a bag or pretzels, four liters of soda, and a father's day card for their father. Stupid money burning holes in my pockets. With our newfound snack wealth, we viewed Star Wars IV and marvelled at the Wilhelm scream, the oldschool computer displays, and how Obi-Wan says Stormtroopers are good shots.

Well, Matushka, I said I was a 3 am guy. Here we are at 3:30 am. What do you know? You can blame Steph and Didi for that one... except I would have stayed up anyway.
