So, here's something a little angsty:

Summary: Something's been nagging at McCoy since he and Spock escaped from planet Sarpeidon's icy past.
A/N: Okay, the other reason I never cross-posted this one here is because it was my first TOS fic, and I was shy. I knew I shipped Spock/McCoy, but I hadn't quite figured out how to make it work. I'm feeling a little more confident about this one now. 1,800 words.
"Doctor, you are looking at me as if I had more than the usual number of heads for a humanoid."

A/N: Written a couple months ago for the st-tos-kink meme. 1,140 words.
Spock supposed he could have said something reassuring just then. It would have been the kind thing to do, perhaps even the logical thing to do. For reasons he himself would never fully understand but would eventually ascribe to his human half, he chose to do otherwise.
