Summary: Noir-Trek AU written for startrekbigbang; Chapel and McCoy run a branch of Starfleet Intelligence on the rough, rainy spaceport planet of New Glasgow. Disguised as a gum-shoe detective agency, they are investigating the disappearance of sixteen individuals, assisted by boy-genius Chekov, Scotty's dog Porthos, and all the usual suspects. Fedora hats, striped suits, Marcel waves, cloche hats, seamed stockings, garter belts, and phasers that malfunction in a malevolent manner.
