Thanks for posting new chapters from this story! The setting is intriguing & I like your approach to the technologies in the AU -- that ginger cat acting as a wayfinder within the ship strikes an oddly comforting note in a situation which has been disorienting and lonely for Uhura (though Charlene & Scotty's friendliness is easing the sense of angst.
I also like reading fanfic incorporating the terms "metadata" and "schema" (for obvious reasons) ;)
Now if the AU Spock will only loosen up (tough for a Vulcan, true) and give her a chance...
