Hello my fellow Spock/Chapel shippers! I hope everyone had a good weekend and to my fellow American members, I hope you had a Happy Fourth! As you know, I have overtaken moderation duties and have listened to everyone who provided feedback and looked into the poll results to make new policies. They are all listed in the community profile now. Please keep posting your content, and for those of you tapped into the greater Star Trek fandom, please let this community know about any events that go towards charity, something such as the recent helpjapan effort where people offered fanworks for money towards Japan. Hopefully those in this community will be able to help by offering their own work or buying some. Now on to different business…
There has been some interest in more discussion posts, and members can bring up whatever they want, but for me as a mod, I’m looking more toward episode centric posts. If we are to do episode discussion posts, I like provide clips and screen caps for the episode and any trivia for the episode. Anyone interested?

We have great authors and artists that use Spock/Chapel in their creations. A good place to start looking could be recommendation posts in our community. Here you can recommend fics, videos, or perhaps even Star Trek expanded universe novels and comic books, or even books that do critical analyses of Star Trek. My only issue here is that Spock/Chapel isn’t that prevalent, so despite the internet being as large as it is, there aren’t always new Spock/Chapel works everyday.

Another idea is request posts. If you once read a great fic and can’t remember where to find it, you can ask in a request post, or if you’re looking for a angst-ridden Spock/Chapel cry fest you can ask for recommendations here. I was thinking request posts could also be used if people are looking/asking for icons or something like that, members might be able to provide the request.
