Personally, I think limiting the comm to romantic content would be a bad idea. Anything that brings the two together is something I want to see (excluding, of course, things that are clearly shipping them with other people). There's a lot to be said for fanworks that have them just growing closer platonically (these two have a lot of ground to cover, after all) and keeping works like that out would be taking a lot away from the comm.

I agree but I wanted to give members the option to voice what they wanted, since I know some people can mark platonic moments as irrelevant. It looks like we won't limit the community in that way since I am not going to count the non-members' votes and the no side is winning. Though I think this community is really lacking in material, so I'll take almost anything Spock/Chapel related romantic or not. I was hoping that this community would allow for general Chapel centric content, excluding of course other pairings, since I think most of us here also love Chapel by herself not just with Spock. She needs more love dammit! :)

Thanks for letting me know what you think!

Definitely not limited to romance. There are many possibilities with these characters and I hate to miss any because the parameters are too narrow.

I like the idea of discussion posts, recommendations, challenges, and requests. You get other people's ideas, links to stuff you haven't read, story ideas and the opportunity to practice writing, or use other creative venues.

Request posts are nice if you don't write, or create art but have a wonderful nagging concept that you just can't get rid of. You can find someone to share it and bring it to life.

It is wonderful to see some discussions over here.

Thanks for giving me feedback on this, and you of course are welcome to keep doing what you're doing since we need more content. I think I'll have a post by Monday detailing the new policies for this community.
