Finally! Laptop and Scanner, FIXED!!
Wahoo!
I had some issues with my laptop. The logic board completely died ... causing my whole laptop to go kaput. Now. Before anyone dares to incur my wrath by insulting the godliness of my brilliant laptop, let me be the first to mention that this is the first problem I have ever really had with the lovely thing. Once, out of my own negligence, I got a part of the power cable stuck in the little cord thingie and had to pay for that to be replaced. Once.
This... is the first time something inside my computer has actually broken, and I have owned this iBook for over three years. PLUS, the extra hundred or so I paid for the three year Applecare warrantee? Yeah well guess how much replacing the entire logic board cost me?
Absofuckinglutely nothing.
And that's why apple rocks.
Moving on! My scanner decided to start behaving. So you remember that image of Harlequin de Danaan and Grendel mac Morrigan le Faye that I had drawn and showed you blurry crappiness via my webcamera? Well here it is! IN quality this time, and I hope that you'll all agree with me in liking this much better. Because ugh. I loathe taking pics of my art with a webcamera. Too blurry and shaky. Anyway. This was a very fast fifteen to twenty five or thirty minute sketch. I doubt I'll ever add color to it or finish it because eeeh it's just not striking me right now. ^.^ But the art of spo_mo has returned! ... I hope it is to your liking.
No I didn't feel like hiding it in a cut cause I don't know yet how to make my cuts and comments appear on a page that looks just like my journal and the damned blob white screen bothers the crap out of me.
