Anyone know what happened to this fic or author

I was reading a fic called "No Such Thing As True Love" by TheCreator on Archive of Our Own website. The author regularly updated and has last posted chapter 29 on 11/29/14. Then the updates email I usually get just stopped. The author regularly updated once a week at least. No warning of any kind to leave or stop. The story and author is just ( Read more... )
It's almost a decade later, but I'm doing research on this fic, trying to find any info I can about it for a video I'm making. Nov 4th, 2014, I saw this fic, read the summary and first chapter, and realized instantly that it was a 1-for-1 copy of a Larry Stylinson pic I read (what the video is about). I commented this to the author and got a fairly passive-aggressive response, but obviously, it's been almost 10 years, so there was no trace of the title or author name, just the response in my inbox. I was hunting on the Wayback Machine for any proof this fic existed to prove that it was real, and finally, I found it!!! Copying the synopsis led me to this thread, and I'm probably gonna go down a rabbit hole trying to find any element of this fic to compare it to the Larry one.
That being said, I assume that (and maybe this is self-centered) my comment about this being a stolen fic in some way caused the author to go scorched Earth and delete everything a few weeks later. In my recent research, this fic was posted a year after the original Larry one, meaning it was the taken one. Hopefully, this gives you some closure 10 years later if you even see this!! If not, I'm leaving a paper trail regardless :)
