Mod Post: New Tag
Hello, SPN-ers!
The new preference: any characters / all pairings tag has been added!
*throws confetti*
When using this tag you must:
• Welcome all characters and all pairings.
• Must not exclude any characters and pairing as a side-note.
For example:
• If a poster sends a submission for happy, au reccs with any and all characters/pairings. All pairings are welcomed. - This post would be accepted if they used the "preference: all characters / any pairing" tag along with all other relevant tags.
• If a user posted the same message as above with the exception of dean/jo or Sam/Cas, this submission would be rejected because the user is not welcoming all pairings.
*The same thing would happen if they exclude a specific character as well.
This tag is not meant to be a substitute for properly tagging characters and/or pairings if your submission requires it.
• If you submit a post searching for a specific J2 fic and you use the preference tag instead of the pairing: jared/jensen tag along with all other relevant tags your post will be rejected.
• If you submit a post looking for hurt castiel recommendations and you use the preference tag instead of the character tag along with all relevant tags your post will be rejected.
You must abide by the "characters and/or pairing tags" rule in these instances.
Now let's say you submit a post that is searching for a specific character fic as well as an au all pairing recc; you would then use the character tag and the preference tag.
All post must be tagged no matter what. Please tag to the best of your ability, while still following the comm's guidelines.
If you are having doubts on what tags to use or if you need clarification on a rule before you post, please don't hesitate to a pm a mod and we will be more than happy to provide assistance!
