I haven't read this yet so I can't tell you if it's good or not but the premise sounds really intriguing. The Long Road Home
Summary: Croatoan AU. Sam saves Crowley in hopes the demon will help him find Dean. Luckily, it works. Now they’re traveling cross country, hunting demons and having a few odd conversations. The pairing is Sam/Crowley. 25k word count.

It is not the main focus of the story, but the climax of this Castiel/Crowley fic My Friends (They Are So Beautiful) by teh_helenables has Castiel saving Crowley and healing him. The entire theme of the story is also how Dean learns that Crowley isn't as much of a dick as he thought he was. Very in character and very recommended.
