specific J2 college story

Hello everyone, i'm looking for a story of which i mainly remember one scene.  Jensen was living with Chris (and Steve?) and maybe Jared, and I remember something about Jensen being unable to talk very loud, or being afraid of loud noises.  I think Jensen was in a relationship with an abusive boyfriend who left bruises on his face, and his friends were very, very protective of him.  It may be that Jensen was abused or had a traumatic back story of some kind.  He eventually gets together with Jared, and i think he's afraid of making loud noises during sex, too, i don't remember why.  It may have been that the J's grew up together, but I'm not sure about that part.  I'm not even sure it was set in college, really, but I think it was.
