Where Dean rescues a woman being attacked - set after the apocalypse

While driving around Dean rescues a young woman (she's about 17) from 2 men? who are going to rape her.  He ends up looking after her and they form a bond and become involved.  It's set after the apocalypse and there is no Sam etc in the fic.  It was aboyt 6-9 chapters long and was very really good.  The fic (I am fairly sure) was posted here on

this sound similar to the one i was looking for.
was this on livejournal, by an an author title of 'those who favour fire'. it was the title of the journal , not story.
