Fic Remake of The Road book/movie?
Yesterday I was watching the movie 'The Road' with Viggo Mortensen. It's from a book of the same name by Cormac McCarthy.
For those of you who haven't seen it, It's one of those movies that makes you hate humanity. A man (Viggo) and his son are trying to survive a post-apocalyptic world. There are cannibalistic gangs, theives, etc, everybody is trying to kill, rape, eat everybody else, there's no food, at one point you find a family who are holding people in their basement as a food reserve. It's awful and soul destroying. OH GOD AND THE EH-HUH-HND *sobbing*
So naturally I wanted to torture myself more by asking if anyone has ever come across a fic based off of this movie only featuring the winchesters. In any form really, whether the man and his son are John W and his two sons, or Dean taking care of young Sam, or even a crossover where Sam and Dean meet up with Viggo and his son.
Or even a fic that is not based directly off this movie but has similar ideas and whatnot.
