Abused!Dean, Devastated!John, Angst, Angst, Angst, Vengeance--Found!
I've spent the past hour trying to track down a fic I know a read at some point...and now can't find for love or money. Okay, actually I'm broke so I can't offer money, but definitely much love for anyone who can help me find this!
So it's pre-series, and there's some hunter/researcher friend of John's who asks for the boys to come help him with some "research project." John agrees and goes off to hunt without them. He gets some calls from Dean, saying he and Sam need John to come get them, but John brushes them off, thinking Dean's just being lazy and not wanting to research. Turns out, the guy has been sexually abusing Dean--and making Dean think that John agreed to it. I think the boys run off to Bobby's and John's pissed that they disobeyed orders...and then absolutely devastated when he finds out what actually happened to Dean.
Please, please help me find it?
