Dean's Low Self-Esteem
I've tried a search like this before with no real luck, but I figured I'd give it another shot. I would really, really, really love to read some fics dealing with Dean's complete lack of self-worth. Like anything where other characters realize just how deep Dean's issues go, and then actually talk about it. For instance are there any fics where...
1. Sam or Bobby witnesses the Dean vs. Dean dream in Dream a Little Dream of Me?
2. Dean for whatever reason sees a shrink? Even just as part of a case (but it'd be good if he talked about real issues). I know I've come across a few with Sam talking to a shrink, either at Stanford or as part of Asylum, but I've never seen any with Dean.
3. Curses? I've read a few stories where one of the boys gets cursed into telling the truth and behold, Wincest comes out! Which is all good, I love the Wincest, but does anyone know any fics where it leads to Dean having to talk about how worthless he feels?
4. Anything with Bobby! Bobby calling Dean out on being screwed in the head after he made the deal is still among my favorite Supernatural moments. We never get any follow through on things like that with the show though, so I'd love to see some real heart to hearts.
