*FOUND* Specific Fic: Castiel/Dean, 5 Love Languages, Getting Together, Domestic
Pretty sure it was on AO3, here's what I remember:
I think it took place in the Bunker with the established set-up being things were getting routine and domestic since they hadn't gotten a case in a while and Dean had started doing everyone's laundry and cooking meals for everyone - Cas, Sam, and Jack. Jack is staying with them and Dean has taken on more of a fatherly role with him and it started feeling like they were a big family. Normal domestic fluff stuff with no real "supernatural" stuff going on in the fic. Dean and Cas aren't together yet.
Specific scenes I remember:
- Dean is doing laundry and Cas comes in asking him to wash his sheets, he had a wet dream. Dean blushes and is embarrassed, but adds it to the wash with no further comment.
- Jack asks Dean how his attempts to win over Cas are going. Dean denies it and denies being interested in Cas that way, but eventually admits to it. Jack tells me about the 5 love languages and says Dean's is acts of service and Cas's is quality time so he should try winning Cas over using his love language, quality time.
- Dean spends quality time with Cas doing things Cas enjoys even though Dean doesn't have a particular interest in those things, he's just happy Cas is happy.
- Cas and Sam are looking through books and trying to find cases. They have great work synergy and Dean gets jealous trying to talk to them and help, but being ignored and told by Sam that he's not great at that stuff and that him (Sam) and Cas will take care of it. Dean get so upset he snaps the pen he was holding and Cas looks up asking him if he is okay. I think Dean made a flippant comment and stormed out or something to that effect. (Fairly certain this scene was from this fic, but I could be mixing it up with another fic.)
- Dean is sitting on the couch and Sam comes in asking where Cas is. Dean asks why he would know and Sam comments on how they've been doing everything together.
- Dean is doing laundry and Cas comes up behind him telling him he's been doing well with Jack and it's "very becoming" of him. Dean asks if he's coming on to him and Cas confirms it. Mild smut ensues with Cas putting Dean on the washer/dryer and rimming him while jacking him off. Cas then tells him, "You're welcome", and Dean thinks it's the most cocky/confident thing Cas has every said/done. Cas leaves and Jack walks by a few minutes later asking if Dean liked Cas's act of service. Dean was flustered and embarrassed asking what he was talking about and then Jack tells him that he was out with Cas (grocery shopping or something?) and explained the 5 love languages to Cas. Jack told Cas that Dean's language is acts of service and then Cas said he's going to give dean an act of service as soon as he got home. Dean, answering Jack's question, said yes he liked it. It ends shortly after that.
