Fic where every night Sam gets pulled into the cage for a few minutes (during bunker years)
Hello! I'm looking for a complete fic I read on AO3. It takes place sometime in the later seasons (maybe post-11? But not 100% sure). Sam goes to sleep one night and wakes up in the Cage, and Lucifer is wondering how he managed to do this but isn't upset about it, is happy to take the opportunity to hurt Sam. And a few minutes in the real world is a lot longer in Hell, so Lucifer has a lot of time with him.
I remember that when he wakes up in the morning in the bunker, he thinks he's still in the Cage, and when he sees Dean he thinks it's Lucifer pretending. Soon they figure out what's going on, and Sam has real injuries to prove he's actually getting pulled into the Cage, that it's not just bad dreams.
They eventually manage a spell that keeps Lucifer from being able to hurt Sam while he's pulled into the Cage, so the worst Lucifer can do is talk at him. I forget what the ending was but I hope that's enough detail for someone to know it!
