Specific time-travel fic where Dean's transported to the past, later seasons!Dean/early seasons!Sam
Hello, everyone! First of all- this place is a literal Godsend, because I cannot, for the life of me, find what I'm looking for despite turning over every link that might've led me to this fic in the first place. I need to know if this was real or if I came up with it in a bout of delirium from consuming too much content of this pairing. Unfortunately, I don't remember which platform I read it off of, too, so this may be a doozy to figure out. Here's hoping we find it!
From what I remember (and details might be inaccurate due to a long, long time of not reading it), this was a fic that had older Dean (from later seasons of Supernatural) transported back in time to the years of earlier seasons of Supernatural. I don't remember the specifics of how he comes across young!Sam and young!Dean, but they do cross paths fairly quickly, which is where our story really begins.
Young!Sam and young!Dean aren't together- they have some tension lingering beneath the surface, but they never pursued a relationship with each other for one reason or another. Young!Dean isn't pleased that older!Dean's there- but there's nothing he can do about it, since he isn't sure how to send him back yet. Older!Dean doesn't care about that, however- his attitude is something along the lines of, he wants young!Sam, and if young!Dean won't take him, then he will. At some point, older!Dean and young!Sam talk about their feelings, and have sex in the Impala.
There was a scene where Dean and a third party (Cas? Bobby? Curse my bad memory, I can't remember.) are in the midst of talking in the house that they're hunkered down in, when it's noticed by either one that older!Dean and young!Sam have been gone for a while. Young!Dean sees them walking to the Impala/being affectionate/intimate with each other through the window, possibly panics and looks away, and later notices the dishevelled state that Sam's in after he's done the deed with older!Dean. Cue jealousy.
I don't think that the sex scenes went into too much detail. I hesitated to put NSFW in the title because of this, but there's that. It may have been bottom!young!Sam and top!older!Dean. Older!Dean doesn't stay in the past- I'm pretty sure he's returned to his time (and his age-appropriate Sammy), and young!Sam and young!Dean finally get to talking about their own feelings for each other because of the sudden competition that older!Dean brought to the table. ;)
