J2 meet-cute feat. Harley the dog
Hi there! I’m looking for an old J2 fic. Jensen is a volunteer at an animal shelter (I think he’s a veterinary student?) and Harley is a lost dog that’s been brought there.
Jared is Harley’s owner and was out of town when Harley got lost and the dog sitter (or roommate?) didn’t tell him. Harley’s about to be put down, and Jensen is trying to save him, but can’t take him home because his place doesn’t allow pets.
Jared finds them while Jensen is out walking Harley. He obviously wants to date the cute volunteer who adores his dog, but Jensen thinks Jared is an irresponsible dog owner. I think Jared invites him back to his place so he can see how spoiled Harley is?
Pretty sure this was just a brief oneshot, and probably like 15 years old, so my chances might be slim here. Any help would be appreciated!
