looking for a fic where Dean helps raise Sam's daughter
this was on AO3 and i had the pdf once upon a time but my computer luck is nonexistent and ive lost several since downloading the story. it's no where to be found so any help is appreciated.
the plot - Sam and his girlfriend are expecting a child but then Sam dies. Dean and the girlfriend mourn and Dean basically keeps girlfriend going. After baby Mary arrives, Dean being so very Dean takes care of both of them. they both give up hunting and move to the burbs and raise lil Mary. they let everyone think Dean is Mary's father and eventually the couple fall in love.
On the night a few years later, Dean is about to propose when the doorbell rings and guess who it is?
Yup. Sam's back from the dead and ready to jump back into his old life.
Now Dean does what he does and sacrifices his own happiness though his sacrifice only manages to piss the girlfriend off.
so much guilt and angst on everyone's part but Dean gets his happily ever after.
