Post-S5e6 ("I Believe the Children Are Our Future") "Fix-it" fic
Hi, y'all...
I read this fic a while back and would have sworn I had it bookmarked, but I can't find it anywhere now. I'm fairly certain it was on either AO3 or fanfiction[dot]net, but I could be wrong about that.
It was set just after S5E6, and Sam was upset/sad about the way Dean had used him to prove to Jesse that the joy-buzzer was harmless. I seem to remember that he basically thought that Dean felt he was just expendable at that point. And I *think* that, in their conversation that helped "fix" things, Dean told Sam he would never risk hurting Sam, and he'd actually tested it on himself before he did it on Sam.
It was either a one-shot, or it was a chapter in one of those fics where each chapter is a separate short fic.
We watched this episode last night, and talked about this fic, and now I can't stop hoping to find it. Help, please? Thanks!
