Looking for specific fic from LJ
First time posting on here, but I'm trying to find a fic I read ages ago. I think I read it on Livejournal. I believe it was wincest, though it may have been gen.
Dean and Sam were on a hunt together and they ended up getting hit with some sort of curse or spell that gave them a telepathic/psychic bond with each other. It was generally from Dean's PoV, and the thing that really sticks out is that the way he saw the world was really unique. He was obsessed with numbers and patterns and it took up a lot of space in his mind, and Sam started to notice it because of their bond and didn't understand it. Dean spent a lot of time tapping the steering wheel in certain ways (like avoiding a certain finger) and noticing patterns and then using math to mess around with numbers. Part of it was he was convinced about some unlucky number he had, I think maybe three or four? Because it was the number of monsters they were hunting when they got attacked, and the number of years Sam was gone, and lots of stuff like that. And he would spend a lot of time in his head multiplying and dividing numbers and patterns he saw to try and avoid that number. I swear I remember a scene where they're in the car and he's tapping the wheel a certain way, as well a scene where they're at the library to research and Dean is trying to occupy himself but his number stuff gets to be too much for Sam to bear through their mental link and he can't concentrate on the research.
I think about this fic a lot, but I can never remember the name or author.. Thank you in advance.
