Wow I have no idea how this works.
Okay, here we go, I'm looking for a specific fic where Angels have devolved (kinda?) And don't have powers, but have wings. Your wings match your soulmates wings in shape and color. Dean has wings, but doesn't want people to know because John says that wings are bad. Dean goes to a high school and meets Castiel, who (I think) is like, bad boy ish? Idk. They are soulmates and they slowly become friends until Dean finds Castiel bullying Sam. Sam likes Gabriel but is sad because he doesn't have wings so he can't be Gabriel's soulmate. No one knows Dean had wings. I think John turns out to have killed Cas's or someones parents who were angels and he was called like 'the angel killer' or something. That's all I can really remember. I'm not sure what website it was on.
