Specific hurt!Sam car crash fic + general car crash fics
It was a hurt!Sam fic set mid series (I think), maybe season 6, 7, or 8? Sam was driving to get dean something or whatever and he pulled up at a stop light. He sees behind him a bus of kids is stuck directly on railroad tracks, the barriers somehow malfunctioned and the train was coming, so sam made a calculated decision to run the red light, into a dangerous intersection, so that the bus could pull up, thus saving the kids.
Pretty sure there were like low self esteem / suicidal!sam aspects too.
Also any similar hurt!Sam suicidal/low self esteem car crash fics would be soooooo appreciated :)
