FOUND IN COMMENTS | Specific Fic Search: superhero j2 / secret empath!jared / self healer!jensen
Hello all! I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the direction of a fic that I know I have read so many times (and somehow can't seem to find right now ...argh)
This fic has Jared as a member of a team of supers led by JDM (I think) and I know they think he can see the future, but he's hiding the fact that he's actually an empath or mind reader? and he wears gloves all of the time because if he has skin to skin contact, he's afraid he would kill someone by overextending his emotions. (I remember specifically that it was a big deal for him that he was a virgin and on suppressant meds even though JDM told him he'd be fine).
+Katie, Chad, Sophia, Tom, Misha, etc. were also part of the team as far as I can remember.
Jensen is a powerful self-healer who has led a pretty shady life so far and is recruited into the group in exchange for wiping his record clean (I think). He had an awful childhood (horrible and abusive parents) and had tried to kill himself several times (unsuccessfully). I know he reluctantly joins in and lives with the group in some kind of high tech facility. He was perving on Jared right away if I can remember correctly.
Eventually, he feels like he belongs and he and Jared are an item. I believe they were fighting someone who can control or pause time and Jensen saves Jared (jumps in the way) several times and ultimately saves Jared's life?
Does this fic sound familiar to anyone?
(If it helps, I think Sandy was a technopath, Chad could open portals to jump through, Misha could make things explode, tom had super strength and JDM was sort of the Nick Fury of the bunch.)
Please help! I know this fic so well and it's incredibly frustrating not being able to find it. :(
