Oh weee! It really has? That's so awesome to hear! *squishful hugs* That's totally cool, too; I'm really REALLY glad that you started this comm because duuuuuuuude fandomsecrets got real old, real fast.

Haha yeah. Well, this was really made out of some wank earlier this month against the SPN fandom and I got sick of hearing about it. Unfortunately, people either don't really know that this comm exists yet or just don't remember because SPN secrets are still going over there and we only get 5 or 6 a week, if that. I guess it just takes time!

Any chance you can make it so that it's possible to "expand" comment threads?

There is no option to turn it off. There should just be an 'expand' link on the bottom of each thread. If you can find an FAQ that talks about this, I'll change it but I can expand all threads even when not in this account.

Dunno if you check this, but you should really, really promote this comm now that it's reopened. I mean, tell EVERYONE, I'm sure there're plenty of people interested. Hell, I didn't even notice it being open until I rechecked on a whim.

We did promote it when it reopened couple weeks ago. Do you have any suggestions as to where else to? A lot of places wouldn't accept promotions for this type of community. And f!s ignored my request to re-pimp it. :/

Haha, I would just go anon and comment on SPN secrets there, that would probably work.

Do SPN secrets there somehow get reposted here? Or should I submit mine here separately?

We keep track of the secrets posted at f!s and they do get posted here, too. So you can post at either place. :) (and by we, I mean my co-mod, because I don't go over there too much anymore, haha.)

Haha, yeah, I've been randomly commenting about it in ontd posts and stuff too. I should really check f!s more often, though, and comment there.

Can I suggest doing a week or two the old way where comments are concerned? There are so little of them right not and I'm thinking maybe people prefer leaving all their thoughts in one comment instead of having to leave a comment for each. I know I'd probably comment more if I didn't have to make a different comment for each secret.

Might get more action that way.

Sorry, I completely forgot to track this post until now. So, if you still care, we could always do a poll on the subject. I prefer the current method because it's more organized and discussion is easier, but if people like the other method better, I have no problem changing it.

I take it posting screenshots from a locked journal is a big no-no? I'd rather ask before opening a can of worms.

I took a look back through the rules on the subject previously, and I guess we'll stick with them too. It's basically that yes, you can post flocked content, but if the user requests that it be taken down, it will be.

This sort of thing can easily start wank so I would suggest stating that if the cap is OBVIOUSLY from that journal ie. icons, names, photos of the user are shown, then no but if it's just a cap of some statement or something that can't be obviously linked back to a specific user, then go ahead.

Good point, sounds like the best approach. I'll make a clear note of it in the submissions posts from now on.
