Fic Recs: Crossovers
*waves hello* Looks like I'm your recc'er for the month of April, which is love, because I have so many fun stories for you lot to check out.
We'll start first with some must-read crossover fic. Most of these are Gen, which is highly unusual for me as I'm rather porny about Supernatural (well, who isn't?), but that just means that these are all that good. :D
In no particular order:
Like This by xaara. [SPN/Friday Night Lights] Gen: PG, Dean Winchester, Tim Riggins. He's good at that, the not thinking. He sleeps carefully and forgets his dreams. The Texas heat just sort of shimmers around the edges of this fic, very quiet and sleepy and hot.
Days Like This by killabeez. [SPN/Angel] Gen: Dean Winchester, Angel. Tentacles. Why did it have to be tentacles? Sort of plotty and emotional and snarky, and a *wonderful* look at Sam and Dean through someone else's eyes.
Paper Saints by mhalachaiswords. [SPN/Gilmore Girls/House]. Gen: Rory Gilmore, Greg House, Sam and Dean Winchester. It starts with doubt, and it ends the same way, but Rory doesn't know how to live with that. Eerie and lovely.
Favor Returned by eloise-bright. [SPN/Angel] Gen, Dean Winchester, Wesley Wyndam-Pryce. Wesley Wyndam-Pryce is saved from a nasty bar fight by Dean Winchester. Later, he has a chance to return the favor. Stuffy!Wesley at his best.
Of Comfort No Man Speak by musesfool. [SPN/Angel] Adult: Sam Winchester/Connor. "Family, man," Connor says, "they really fuck you up." Both have major daddy issues and similar backgrounds, and this fic handles that in a way that is subtle and insightful.
Red by Sanyin. [SPN/Good Omens] Very adult: Dean Winchester/War. Dean goes looking for trouble. Then it finds him. Scorching hot.
