2) The Little Big Art Gallery

Once again, tons of beautiful artworks this month (we are spoiled!). Don't miss this adorable young!Lucifer and Gabriel artwork by quercusrubra, this hilarious de-aged Sam & Dean art by rookhazel, this portrait of Castiel crying blood by hellh-o-u-n-d, this cute late Valentine's Day (Dean/Cas) art by brightfallenstars, this funny but NSFW Dean/Cas mini-comic by treesquirrrel (note: link broken, I have to find a new one), this very original art by ziay, this art of Aaron and his Golem by anaeolist, this heart-breaking Sam and Dean art by wifihunters, this conceptual Sam & Dean art by virida-rium and this Annonciation that certainly gave the Virgin Mary an heart attack by valiantparadox.

I always tend to rec' realistic or comic style art but the fandom is full of cute chibies too. If you are a fan of cute big heads, you will love this Dean/Cas bedtime doodle by Brakes, this Castiel doodle (GIF) by say0ran-arts, and this other Cas gif by roflmolly. Talking about gifs, also, take a minute to check out this one of Team Free Will riding fiercely in the Impala.

It's the end of an era, the J2-everafter challenge has paid its farewells. We'll cherish forever the beautiful art posts of Demolition (Mashimero),  Ever Ever After (Maichan), Jareckles and his 12 sexy tasks (Vicious_sock), Sacred Grounds (Artmetica) and Swept Away (Cassiopeia7), done for this 5th and last round.

It was posted just after my latest round up so I couldn't tell you about it but I'm sure you didn't miss this funny (and very well done!) manip by fuefukidouj, reinterpreting The Life of "Pie". There's even the Impala in the left corner!

3) Tutorials and resources corner

If you can't afford an art program like Photoshop or even like SAI, MyPaint, a "fast and easy open-source graphics application for digital painters" will be perfect for you. It's free, it has an amazing quantity of brushes and tools and you can download it HERE.

Two very talented fan artists have decided to share their technique with us this month and we are not going to complain. First, Maichan details the process she used in a recent Teen Wolf artwork. From pencil sketch to digital coloring, everything is explained in this great Tumblr post. Lettie, the Cel-Shading Queen, also brings us a great step by step on her Tumblr. Very impressive! If you want to know more, she also answers to some technical questions in her F.A.Q.

Maichan and Lettie were not the only ones to post a step by step, Euclase also details her process on this Deviant Art post and Bayuron gives precious tips about SAI in this Tumblr entry.

For confirmed artists, the blog Helpyoudraw posted these very interesting pages from Imagine FX that gather great tips from pros to improve your CG art. Definitely useful!

Let's not forget about manippers before leaving. They will surely love this compilation of 40 absolutely brilliant and fresh photo manipulation tutorials. From dark atmospheres to heroic fantasy settings to abstract art, you will surely find something that rocks you boat.

Last but not least, the ultimate tutorial to draw a head. You'll need a goat for this one but it takes what it takes to be a great artist, huh?

See you next month!

A big thank you to lazy_daze for the English beta! ♥
