November Fan Art Round-Up
Hello artists!
There's no rest for the wicked Supernatural fan artists! As usual, there are LOTS of challenges you can sign up to in the next few months. Ready?

That's not all! insmallpackages is back so don't hesitate to prompt and grant wishes. Every kind of art is allowed from hand drawn art to manips to icons and even fanmixes. You can make a wish (= prompt) in the wish post here.
If you aren't an artist and just want to lurk, the spn_j2_xmas exchange starts its posting on December 1st (the name of the community is tricky, this exchange isn't only focused on J2 but on every pairing and genre). However, for those who prefer Dean/Cas exclusively, the deancas_xmas exchange will start its posting on December 13th. A lot of artworks to enjoy!

November, a very busy month! (the Hellatus and its lack of art seems so far away now).
Don't hesitate to have a look at Whoring for Gas (Gabriel and Cas), Not Sorry (NSFW - Dean + Cas wearing garters), Dean and Cas experimenting hunting together, this hilarious caricature of Cas, this very cute art of the young Winchesters hunting and last but not least this beautiful watercolor painting of Benny drinking blood out of Dean. And if you don't like Benny, you can still join the I-hate-Benny-Club.
Also recommended, this very cute Sam and Gabriel art, Promise (Wincest - SFW), and Holy Death (Dean-Cas. Warning: character!death).
The spn_reversebang has started! Highly recommended, the art posts of In The Cards by Quickreaver, Recipe For A Successful Relationship by Lamapan, For With The Heart by Alice and Emma, Bake and Shake by Beelikej, Sleeping with Ghosts by Basdbastion, and Vows of Protection by Gassadaa.

To finish, our little tutorial corner (beginners friendly this month too. I will try to think about advanced users next month)
- badbastion and Aegidoll share their tricks about digital coloring. You can find their very interesting step by step tutorials HERE and HERE.
- Still for beginners (even if advanced users make the mistake too...) here is a very good method to save your drawing from the wreckage when you drew by mistake the line art on the same layer as the sketch layer. Also very useful, this very complete skin tone palette, and this post about...feet! Don't tell me you don't have problem with feet...
- For everybody now, TONS of links to tons of Tumblrs to help you find the perfect reference pictures. Clothes, textures, food, furniture, this amazing database will provide you all the links you need for your (fan) arts!
Now that you know everything about line arting and coloring thanks to all the tutorials above, why not drawing and printing your own comic? Here is a very simple method for printing comics. There's even a template to help you with your work. And because you are SO badass that nothing can stop you now, it's time to make your own sketchbook...from scratch! John Winchester's Journal will look cheap in comparison to your fantastic hand-made sketchbook (it can be a good present for a Supernatural fan artist if it's 100% custom). Good luck to you!
