These are a few of my favorite things fics: I've always loved the way fiction can transport the reader to another place or time, and these fics are sometimes the next best thing to a plane ticket and much cheaper. ^_^ (And in these instances, possibly safer, too)

I love, love, absolutely love, "It's Gonna Take a Lot", and--this is somewhat embarrassing--I started getting ALL EMOTIONALLY when I saw your comments pertaining to "Cold Bright Sky". That story...it's phenomenal.

I think a reread is in order.

"It's Gonna Take a Lot" was the first story I'd ever written, so thank you! It's fun & amazing to go back and remember where it all started :)

I actually listened to the podfic, when I was first delving into the whole wide world of podficcery...

...and it was, in short, a breathtaking experience. Your descriptions and energy and pacing was phenomenal. I learned more about Zimbabwe in your story than I did at MUN in high school. :)

I' d like to thank you for the rec, too. It was very kind of you, and I really do appreciate it! And I'll second (or third) the rec for arabia764's fic - it's beautiful. I haven't read Kelleigh's fic, but I like her stuff, so... wish I had the afternoon free to read hers too, but I'll get to it.

Wow, thank you so much. It really is an honour to be recced in the same post as Ashes of the Moon, I love that story so much.

I don't know It's Gonna Take a Lot, but I'm sure going to read it now.
