This is brief, but it's the kind of fic that takes guts. Evil!Sam is so ruthless and yet loving, and Dean is so thoroughly broken until … yeah. It's a shocker - I literally blinked at the screen for a bit at the end there - but it's so calm in its dark and bleak nature that it shows just how "natural" the depths of Sam's evil has become. [Warnings: Blasphemy, angst, darkness. Spoilers for "Born Under a Bad Sign". Part of the Evil!Sam Song 'Verse.]

I think this was originally going to be part of a larger universe, but the prequel remains unfinished and there is no sequel yet posted. A beautiful non-AU interpretation of a harlequin prompt involving love and sex and devout religious figures. Sam and Dean's relationship becomes highlighted and deconstructed all at once when it's tossed out of its typical element and has to find its way out. The piece is heartwarming without being full of schmoop and it's incredibly sexy without featuring tons of sex. [Warnings: Priest!kink, UST (to start), amnesia/brainwashing.]

I rather think of this as a fandom classic, especially since it not only explores the very brotherly relationship perfectly in with the amour/eros, but also because it's hustler!kink that isn't really about the hustling as much as how hustling affects the boys. There's angst and caring and sexiness and banter and fights and Sam's bitchface and Dean's smirk and it's just all there ... while Dean puts out the love-for-sale sign to keep them out of the cold.
