Curses and Contretemps: Miscellaneous Angst-Lite Recs
Well, folks, this is my last guest reccer post. And show is coming back Friday. And there will be angst. And I will eat it up with a spoon. An angsty spoon. But just to compose our spirits, here are some fics in which the problems are not insurmountably cosmic or the outcomes unendurably tragic. Sam and Dean get into these situations, you know?

Sam is cursed to see things. I am a sucker for stories that give us a marvelous view of one brother through the eyes of the other, and the way kellifer_fic has Sam perceive Dean here is just perfect.

A short, bantery fic in which Dean is caught in an amnesia loop but is still Dean, and Sam is mostly very patient. Only touches of angst, a lovely little portrait of the boys.

Yes, the rating and the warning are both accurate. It took me a long time to make up my mind to read this, because, you know, Sam/yak dubcon. But it's a lot more delightful than traumatic. Give it a whirl.

It has porn, dinosaurs, and annoyed Castiel. I am really not sure what more you could want.
He Ain't No Prince by blue-soaring

The things Dean will do for Sam. A light-hearted piece with deft characterization that is also clever in ways that would spoil the story.
Getting Lucky by ygrawn

Good stuff starts happening to Sam and Dean. Dean's pretty sure that means something bad is going on. A little poignant, but ultimately a happy place for those of us who want something good to happen to those Winchesters.
