Happy Saturday everyone!
I'm a guest reccer here this month, and poor
lazydaze has already had to get on my case about posting once a week. This is what comes from a chronic procrastinator volunteering to do something and a poor unsuspecting mod taking them up on it. I promise to be better next week!!!
I've never done this before, so I thought I'd just start off this week with some of my favorites.

Summary: Jared Padalecki would really like to stop accidentally kidnapping the hot, angry guy with the smokin' green eyes because - if nothing else - it makes it really damn difficult to talk to the man and get a date when he's trying to climb out of a window or scale a twelve foot high fence to get away.
Reccer's Note: I love the way it's Jared, Chad & Chris versus Jensen, Danneel and Steve, with JDM just throwing up his hands in exasperation. There's a time stamp as well, make sure you check it out.

Summary: I have a morbid fear of corpse-eating bugs. Wanna fuck?
Reccer's Note: Jensen's inner voice here absolutely kills me. Sleep-deprived, completely-freaked-out Jensen, with openly-laughing-at-him Jared. What's not to love? Plus, there's a line about Sandy that I dare you not to love. Everybody and their dog has probably read this, but it's one of my favorites.
Farther Away From Where We Are by
causeways Rating R
Summary: In which Jensen goes to Texas and gets drunk all the time, and wishes he were Prometheus, because then his poor dead liver would grow back every night. Also, eventually there is J2.
Reccer's Note: Another oldie that everyone has read, I'm sure. But... I stumbled upon this back when I had never even heard of Supernatural. I was reading Spander fic and followed my favorite author at the time to LJ. She recced this and I read it, having no idea who any of the people in it were. Jared? Jensen? Who the hell are they? And who's this Chad guy with the tequila? I'd never read RPS, never even heard of J2. But I was caught and dragged into SPN by this story, and I've never regretted it!

Summary: This story is inspired by It Doesn't Mean You Can Explain The Ocean by rageprufrock, and if by some sad unlucky chance you haven't read that already, go do that first, because it is spectacular and also this won't make sense without it. ♥
Reccer's Note: The way the author describes Sam's slow spiral into grief and despair, and his relief when he thinks he's found a way out just absolutely kill me. DEAD. I'm a sucker for unrequited love, so when I say I've read this about a dozen times, it's not an exaggeration.
Enjoy!!!
