I HAVE MANY QUESTIONS oh yes, don't hate.

1) My first question was actually gonna be asking you about how you use your programs but you answered a lot of it damn you.
SO, instead: Is it easier to paint/draw on a single one-layer canvas than it is to use layers to separate everything out? Have you tried using different brushes/customised brushes and if you did, what did you think? Do you think your style lends itself to texture and if so would you use it digitally? I think the last question is interesting because it could be wildly effective with your serious/darker art (e.g. 'Four Months In Hell' and your big bang).

2) If you had to choose one fanartist in any fandom, who would you choose? Could be style, content, pairing, themes - whoever you love looking at ( ... )

In re: question 1, the digital texture could be either customised brushes OR stock textures. I hope I'm making sense!

1) I AM TOO SLICK FOR YOU, BB. MWUAHA. Anyway, a) I am so in love with layers. Me and layers are just MEANT TO BE. I don't know if I necessarily find them easier than one single layer canvas - the digital art I was producing before I clicked that mysterious 'layers' button and discovered a whole new world was very different, stylistically, so it's hard to compare (and I find traditional art mediums a lot easier simply because I've been using them for so much longer) - but layers have a lot of POSSIBILITY and that's fun ( ... )

See I thought you would find single layers quite easy to work with because it matches the traditional format better. And I also agree that while layers are sometimes harder to work with, they provide so much more possibilities :D, I'm actually surprised that you think that too. *interested face*

Textures and customised brushes for OpenCanvas, I will look into that for you! Even if you don't like them, they are well worth experimenting with just for the FUN.

Haha, did I make you headdesk looking for fanart? OH MY, celestialsoda is amazing! All that scratchy movement and colour <33333 - I like your choice :D. I wish I was in the HP fandom (the only time I swear, the ONLY TIME) because it is the one fandom that has the most amazing traditional art in it :(

EDWARD HOPPER IS MY ARTIST WTF. WE ARE BRAINTWINS (I direct you to my info section on dA profile page! Would it not be amazing if someone did Sam/Dean in that style?? (*stares mysteriously at you ( ... )

OMG so how do you get your inspiration? DO YOU HAVE A MUSE? Why is Sam's nose so glorious? And what do you enjoy/dislike drawing?

Ngl I would be JEALOUS OF YOU if that were true....*eyes you suspiciously*

I guess my mind is kind of like one of those Zany Plot Generators. At random intervals, it rolls over into 'wouldn't it be cool if [character A] [verb] [character B] in [unexpected setting]!' e.g 'wouldn't it be cool if Dean had a dance off with Sam in SPACE!' I DON'T KNOW D:

ARGH but that is such a cool answer! So basically it's kinda like being ON DRUGS oh man I'm jealous of you all over again :D

It's very satisfying when you get a picture in your head, get it out of your head in a way that works and then put it into other people's heads instead.

So your favorite part of drawing is that it's like MIND CONTROL? Gasp.

There's nothing worse than when you have this completely awesome mental image but when you try to put it onto paper (or... computer monitor) it comes out looking like giraffes in labour. /o\

That's SO COOL because I know exactly what you mean. I hate it when I have a beautiful poem in ( ... )

Do you enjoy the fun and quick validation of drawing your cartoons more, or the satisfaction of drawing 'serious' indepth pieces? If you had to choose :D

(And no, you not allowed to turn the question around on me :P! I loooove your cartoons but then I find myself STARING at that last Sam/Dean kiss panel of this year's BB, so. dlfkjhlgjk do more of both. :>!)

Ohhh, I love the satisfaction of indepth art. Don't get me wrong, I adore my ridiculousness and it's very satisfying too, but nothing beats spending hours and hours working on something and making it look really good. Which has actually been hard adjusting to with my tablet, as in school/college etc I was more of a painter than a draw-er so I'm not really used to spending hours on what's essentially drawing. I GET IMPATIENT D:

(I WILL TOTES DO MORE OF BOTH. One day. :x)

As far as you know, what is the Pope's stance on wincest, and do you agree? Also, papal headgear, any chance you'll ever draw any?

The Pope is, unfortunately, a total Dean/Jo shipper. Not that there's anything wrong with Dean/Jo, but it can make tea parties so incredibly awkward. "But Popey," I always say (I call him Popey), "Jo is more like a LITTLE SISTER to Dean," and then he gets all angry and tries to excommunicate me even though I am not even a Catholic!

Honestly, I am surprised I haven't drawn any already.

Do you prefer illustrating text or drawing something that just popped into your head?

Definitely drawing something that just popped into my head. Then if it all goes horribly wrong the only person I can offend is MYSELF. Plus sometimes the mental image I have of a scene turns out to be not actually what the text says (e.g. people standing in different positions, different background or time of day, etc) which can be hard to rearrange in my head if I haven't started drawing it or PLAIN DISASTROUS if I have. But on the other hand, illustrating someone else's words is really fun if you don't mess it up.
