Heh. Rufus is a curmudgeonly old codger. There needs to be more Rufus-mentors-Jo fic. ♥

I love that he 'knows' things about Oprah. He's probably had her checked, you know - he probably did her ear. ^.^

Oh, he definitely 'knows' things. But as soon as he started to talk about it, the whole fic went off the rails, so I shut him up. He didn't care either way, thank goodness. :)

I don't think I can write Jo, or I'd give it a shot. Truth be told, it's the previous generation of hunters that pull at me most, because they're past the make-or-break stage. And discovered that they've done both.
