A second dominant alpha howl filled the valley, Jensen waited while helping wounded and putting fires off, scenting the paths for clues of where the attackers went. As soon as more guards arrived and Jensen was informed Claire’s father was on his way he took a group and he flew looking for the outsiders to avenge his friend.

He ran among trees and bushes crossed rivers looking for the smell of his enemies, he stopped at a slope when the shrilling howl of a brokenhearted alpha filled the sky, Jensen turned back, he knew that voice, and he knew the sound, the sound of someone that had lost his mate reached his heart making him share his pain. All around the forest and the lands howls of sympathy filled the mid afternoon’s air.
