A curse/spell slowly starts turning Dean half-female. Initially it is just physical changes, but over time he realizes that it is effecting his gender identity as well (but still Dean). Angels in their true form don't have a gender, and Cas helps Dean learn to accept and enjoy the new him. (If Sam is included, have him be supportive of Dean but NOT a sex partner.) Angels are known. Sam is attracted to them, their race in general. Humans don't interest him. Unfornately he is a half-demon with superpowers (Mary slept with Azazel, John raised a son that wasn't his). While angels can work with demon's and their spawns, they will never love them.

i love this. i would love to fill this prompt, but i'd like to take a fair amount of time and do it right. i don't use livejournal often, but i've been looking for inspiration to write and this prompt is a hell of a motivator. i have this thread bookmarked to come back to, and when i'm able to post the first couple of chapters i'll link to the post in ao3.
