Jared's parents were devastated when Jared was born an omega. They didn't treat him well and lavished attention on his alpha siblings, and his siblings just laughed at Jared for having such an alpha build and yet still being an omega. Jared tried everything to be more alpha-like, and started buying heat suppressants and alpha scent when he was old enough, but nothing seemed to make any difference.

Jared is now in his early/mid 20s, living away from his parents but still trying to be an alpha, certain that if anyone knew that he was an omega, that they'd be just as disappointed in him as his parents.

Alpha!Jensen is a coworker, and has always imagined himself settling down with an omega. When the new guy shows up to work, though, Jensen doesn't care that it's not what he imagined or that alpha/alpha relationships are so controversial - he's gonna do his best to woo Jared and win him over.

How Jensen finds out Jared is an omega is up to you, but while Jensen may be shocked, he's very sweet about the whole thing and comforts Jared, showing him that being an omega isn't something bad and doesn't make you unlovable.
