Reccer's Comments: Wonderful fic examining the "what if" Dean had really tried leaving when he was a teen. What would have happened to him and what would have happened between him and John.

Reccer's Comments: I really enjoyed this series she came up with. And considering it's pre-season 4, it makes the author almost psychic with how she wrote Mary, compared to what we now know of Canon Mary!

Reccer's Comments: A wonderful pre-series set of stories, focusing on the fact that Dean knows a little bit about demons because Mary warned him, while John doesn't. And it's written pre-season 4, too!
Title: Lost & Found

Summary: Two times in his life Dean was offered $50.
Reccer's Comments: An angsty, but powerful look at the issue of money and how Dean dealt with it as a child and as a teen. The Teen part is pretty angsty, but sadly something I can see happening to Dean with the life that he led. I highly recommend Carol's fics, she writes an excellent Dean!
Title: It's Only Rock and Roll (But I Like It)

Summary: There is a hiss and a crackle, and then sharp bursts of guitar that hit his ears like gunfire. In that instant, Dean falls in love.
Reccer's Comments: A lovely look at Dean and his love for music, which I think it's a huge thing that is so Dean and in this fic is described perfectly. Pretty nostalgic with some really good lines, it's really worth a shot.

Reccer's Comments: Smart!Dean! I love smart!Dean! And attentive!Dean and brotherly togetherness! Sam’s POV and a minimum of tension between the boys. This is a feel-good fic for me.
