Thanks, honey! I don't what it is about this fandom that brings out the gen/wee writer in me, but I kind of like thinking about how all three of them were, back when things were first getting started, y'know?

Thanks, honey! :) I was thinking about something else, and all of a sudden I had Dean's voice in my head, explaining to a very young Sam where salt comes from...and then I had a story *g*

Thank you so much! I wish I could claim credit for the icon, but I did get it from a batch made based on the comics drawn over in the_dean_show. If you haven't checked it out, you totally should :)

Thank you! :) It just really seemed like the way a young boy would see it and explain it to an even younger boy :) Glad you liked it.

Hi! I liked this. I'm not normally a fan of little Winchesters, but I enjoyed this glimpse - thank you! Excellent salt visuals, not to mention the burgeoning distance between John & the boys. :)

Hi, yourself :)

It's funny, normally kid!fic isn't really my cuppa. But I seem to write it fairly easily over here in SPN (the one and only fandom I have ever written gen in, EVER). I don't think the distance between John and the boys (or Sam, at least) and all of the responsibility Dean took on happened all at once, but was a gradual thing, as John became more involved with his grief and his quest for vengeance. I've written a couple of other shorts that explore this more, and really enjoy the glimpse it gives me into what the (early) lives of the Winchesters may have been like.

Thanks so much for the feedback! It's much appreciated :)
