Opening: Thanksgiving Challenge

Nov 30, 2008 23:57

So in my last post, I covered the ways in which I am not American, yes? And also, maybe you will remember how hiatus happened last week, and that was an upsetting time for me?

With that in mind, you will clearly see that it was understandable I forgot about that whole holiday thing you Americans were having, and went straight for the waiting around in misery and angst portion of the proceedings. But now I've been reminded, and I still think a thanksgiving challenge would be awesome. So think of this as, like, extending the holidays for those who celebrated, and not a case of me being flakey. Okay? Good.

It can be a thanksgiving story, if you want--How Dean and Sam spend this year, or how they spent them in the past; what Jared and Jensen are doing (in their new house! Where they live together! Ahem.)--or it can be just anything they're thankful for. It's entirely your call, and I will be thankful for whatever you write.

As always, you've got until about this time next Sunday to have your stories in. Have fun!

Next week, by the way, I think we will be having a challenge involving pie. Or possibly...death. Or possibly both. I don't entirely know. I tell you this only so you can start preparing in advance. Pie should never be taken lightly.
