Quick Mod post
Hello dear listeners!
Firstly, thanks so much for the great response to the first edition. It's great to get feedback, as well as just seeing how many people are listening!
Secondly, this post is just a quick note to let you know that I'm changing the format of EVP in the third edition. My plan is to:
- Make it longer - between 40-1hour long
- Have more variety of material - interviews, non-fic meta, etc
- Have more stories
- Themed episodes
In other words, I'm going to sit down in the next day or so and plot out episodes for the next couple of months. For each theme I'll be calling for submissions and re-arranging that process a little, or in other words:
If you're keen to record something, hold off for a day or two until I post the theme schedule.
That way, if there's a theme your particularly interested in, you can volunteer and prepare material for the specific podcast.
That said, I still intend to put together a slash counterpart to this first edition (i.e. in the same format). I'm still after material for that edtion, I need about two or three recordings of slash stories under 3000 words. Timeframe: by the end of the weekend would be good, so Sunday 13th of August. If you think you'll have something slashy for me by then, please drop me a comment now so's I can plan ahead (even if you're not sure of a story yet, but know you can record something).
