I nearly forgot today, sorry guys! It's going to a big one today...
1. Creation Entertainment has announced their first ever Salute to Supernatural convention in Boston, MA. The convention will take place August 5-7, 2011 and so far, the guests are Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, and Brock Kelly.
2. Sam and Dean Winchester have made TV Guide's Hot List as Hot Damned.
3. Supernatural: The Official Companion Season 5 is the new guide book to Show and is out now! Exclusive excerpt can be found here plus a competition to win one open to US and UK folksies.
4. Actors Ron Livingston, Michael Cudlitz and Richard Speight Jr., all of whom played soldiers in the HBO mini-series Band of Brothers, will hold a one hour pre-game autograph session at the Wounded Warriors Project. After the game, the Band of Brothers actors will be on-hand for the official after-party. They will be at the event to meet and greet military members and the general public. Admission at the door is $5.00 and all veterans will be admitted free. There will be a silent auction and all proceeds from the event will benefit WWP. More details can be found here
5. Ratings alwasy confuse me! see if you can make sense of this: Smallville was down a tenth from last week to a 1.1 rating and Supernatural was steady with another 1.1 rating. We had a 1.1/4 rating in the 18-49 yr olds with 2.42 million viewers.
6. TRAILER! For Jules Verne's Myseterious Island, directed by Mark Sheppard.
7. New movie for Richard Speight Jnr! 'Three Blind Saints' is a family-friendly comedy/drama about three wily men who agree to be ministers at a local church to avoid jail time. While bungling through their duties, they uncover a greedy plot to steal from the church. When they try to rescue the church, the men wind up getting rescued in a God encounter they never expected.
8. Guy Bee, director of last week's episode and 'Asylum,' was a guest on Winchester Radio last week. He talked about filming both episodes and told some great behind the scenes stories. click here to listen
9. Asylum 6 and Asylum Europe 2 have announced Mark Sheppard as a guest.
