artists claims

Dec 04, 2010 16:46

For this round we have 8 awesome stories entered, all full of some girl-on-girl action, hopefully.

Artists! Since we have 8 stories and 13 (signed up) artists, we're going to let every story get claimed by 1-2 artists. Every artist have 2 claims to use on their favorite stories. Once a story has been claimed twice, it will be classed as 'claimed'. This will all work in a first come, first served fashion.

This post is closed on Monday 6th or when every story has two artists!

Things to keep in mind..
» You must create at least 1 piece of artwork for each story.
» All types of art are accepted; manips, fanvids, illustration, etc.
» Fanmixes should be discussed with your author!
» The post (on the site of your choice) containing your art must be public.
» Do not post your art before you and your authors assigned posting date.

#2
Title: Truth & Clarity
Genre/type: -
Pairing(s)/Character(s): Jo Harvelle/Kathleen Hudak
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: mild informal D/s dynamic

Summary: Jo loves her mom, but escaping her controlling brand of well-meaning but stifling love to go out on her own and hunt is one of the best decisions she's ever made.

Jo meets Kathleen in the small town of Hibbing, Minnesota, where Jo's investigating a resurgence of mysterious disappearances in a town humming with EMF. Kathleen, the smart town sheriff, seems to be more hung up on a particular closed case than she should be. Jo's convinced the old case and the new mystery are linked, and Kathleen gets a rude introduction to the supernatural world when their paths cross at the old Benders house.

Now Jo feels like she's replaced one older, authoritative woman with another - except Kathleen is different, and what Jo feels for her is something wholly new, and not a little scary. When a hunt goes south and the stakes are high, they both have to re-examine just what they are to each other.

#3
Title: The Road To Hell Is Paved With Adverbs (claimed once)
Genre/type: Femslash (obligatory), alternate reality (sort of), meta
Pairing(s)/Character(s): Becky/Anna (predominantly) with background Sam/Ruby and Bela/Crowley; Bobby; various angels and demons.
Rating: R
Warnings: Violence

Summary: It's been two months since the world didn't end. Becky's back home after her breakup with Chuck, and while he sends her manuscripts right up until the end, they don't talk. She's been struggling with fandom, as well, and finally decides to take a break. She hands over control of her website to her beta, tallanine_down, and takes a break. It doesn't last long, however--because the books are starting up again, and they're wrong.

Castiel has failed, and Dean is still stuck in Hell. Ruby has control of Sam, who's halfway to Lucifer's throne. After the second book about a reality that isn't, Becky, worried, tries to find Chuck--but he's gone missing, and so has Becky's beta. He left a phone for her, though, with hundreds of voicemails. Most of them are static. The rest are Anna Milton, pursued by Sam and Ruby. They have a plan to use Anna to accelerate Sam's ascension.

After meeting up at (and nearly destroying) Bobby's house, Becky and Anna prepare to take on Sam's Apocalypse and put reality back. But things aren't always so simple. As two forces compete for the chance to destroy the world and Becky's feelings develop for the sometimes-former angel at her side, the line between reality and fiction blurs into nothing.

#4
Title: memories of my melancholy whores (claimed once)
Genre/type: femmeslash, horror, character study
Pairing(s)/Character(s): Meg/Lisa, Meg/Jo, Meg/Bela (peripherally, Meg/Dean, Meg/Sam, Meg/Amanda Walker (1x04), Meg/Lily (2x21), Meg/OFC, Dean/Lisa)
Rating: R
Warnings: violence, noncon/dubcon
Summary: She can feel the callus forming on her thumb, from the rough hilt of the (her?) blade, if she tries hard enough. And sometimes she does--try, that is. It's like pressing a bruise. It's like pounding against a bruise until you split open and you start falling out of your own skin.

Like your bruise is your entire world; you see in shades of black and purple and sometimes plum-red. You are a millimeter from the walls in any direction. And you're pressing at that bruise; the small coin-shaped one at your elbow, waiting for it to blossom before you, so you can feel something--anything--at all. More often than not, what you feel is cooling blood, sticky between your fingers.

On possession and being possessed: How to love your body (or someone else's). How to survive an encounter with a demon (or a human). And how to survive the Winchesters, no matter WHO you are.

Genre/type: Femslash
Pairing(s)/Character(s): Madison/Jo, background Dean/Castiel
Rating: Light R
Warnings: None.

Summary: It ends with Sam Winchester putting a bullet through her heart - or, that’s how it’s supposed to end. As it turns out, death is only the beginning for Madison Owens, and heaven is nothing like she expected. Somehow, she finds herself recruited into a band of rebels - a dead psychic, a dead FBI agent, a dead salesman, and two dead dorks, all working to take down heaven from the inside. But the most bewildering part of all is Jo Harvelle, their beautiful - and only slightly scary - leader. So much for eternal rest, between the fight against the angels and her new feelings for Jo, Madison has never felt more awake.

Title: All Things Golden and Green (claimed once)
Genre/type: Femslash (obligatory), romance, drama, au
Pairing(s)/Character(s): Jo/Jess, Jo/Meg (implied), Jo/Ruby, Bela/Lily, Jake/Ava
Rating: R
Warnings: Violence, Sexual content, character death
Summary: When Jo Harvelle wakes up in the hospital, she discovers she can't quite remember who she is or why she's there. Slowly, she starts to feel more like herself, but she also starts to fall more and more in love with her personal nurse, Jess. But just when her life seems to be going on a definite upswing, she starts to remember disturbing things that she shouldn't remember.

Jo's now swiftly blossoming relationship with Jess is complicated further by her girlfriend's pregnancy, the bizarre memories of killing demons and fighting with a brother she's fairly sure she doesn't have, and the fact that she seems helpless to fight her desire for the demon Ruby - and her blood.

Title: And Sing of Sweet Surrender (claimed once)
Genre/type: Femslash (obligatory), romance, drama
Pairing(s)/Character(s): Jess/Meg, Jess/Jo
Rating: R
Warnings: Violence, Sexual Content, Character Death, an OC, Longfic is long....
Summary: Everyone knows what happened when Jess died. What no one knows is what happened after.

So begins a fanfiction written by Jude Applegate about the untold story of what happened to Jessica Moore from Carver Edlund's Supernatural books after her death. A fanfic she doesn't really know why she's writing, and no matter how much she tries to control it, she has no idea why her characters most definitely have a mind of their own.

Jess rises from the grave, and sort of tumbles into the hunting lifestyle, which also seems to include the bed of a woman named Meg, then later, to tumble headlong into a relationship with a wiser hunter than she, a woman named Jo. And then an angel tells her why she's alive - to save the world... by saving Sam.

But it's just a fanfiction, right?

Until Chuck writes a scene in his most recent novel where Jess appears, and figures out exactly what is going on.

This is Jude's fanfic... and it's also the Acts of the Apostle Jessica.

#8
Title: pink, satin, and pearl
Genre/type: Femslash
Pairing(s)/Character(s): Jess/everyone (all girls); always-a-girl!Sam/Dean [not related]; Jess/Jo
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: explicit sexual content, strong language, incest, toys, angst

Summary: Jess has been a hunter since she was a little girl, growing up in close quarters with her as-close-as-a-sister Jo Harvelle at the Roadhouse. But a misunderstanding between Jess and Jo sends her off on the road by herself, searching for a purpose in her life and a distraction from her heartbreak.

This translates, in part, to picking up girls in almost every town she passes through. Jess may leave a trail of broken hearts behind her, but the only one she can see is her own.

Life is about to get a lot more complicated, though, when she meets Ruby in Palo Alto and the girl tells her that the dorm fire she's investigating was caused by a demon. And when Ellen Harvelle beckons her home in no uncertain terms to meet someone, Jess is about to come face-to-face with her past--and her future.
