Because some nonnies were sad about ST's demise before.
Idk, I'm annoyed they couldn't pick a comment scheme that allows for subject lines because those are really useful in a comment meme.

You could try pointing that out to the mods -- I seem to recall that one of the Sassy comms did a comment meme and changed to a scheme with subject lines when someone pointed out that that made things easier. If one doesn't hang out on anon memes and wasn't around for the great subject line debacle, I think it's easy to be unaware that that's even an option.

Well, and it's the mods' personal comm that they post joint projects to; it's not like they set it up specifically for this comment meme, so they didn't pick the layout with comment meming in mind.
