We will see the introduction of a recurring character called Malachi. An angel who is amassing an army for a war, and killing those who refuse to join.

It depends. They are prepping 9.9 right now, so casting is part of that process. If they are using a local Van talent, then it might not be set yet. However, if they are getting a ~name actor or really are considering him as recurring, then it'll likely be set already.

Ugh, yes. I had hope for Cas's love interest, Nora, the countless new angels... But no, so many white people. :/

I know, it's frustrating. We have Tahmoh Penikett (who is part Native, but only in one episode that we know of) and the woman playing Tracey in 9.2 (again, only one episode) but everyone else is white as hell so far. Reminds me of last year all over again.
