Children's Books Series

Okay I'm a nut.  I've written so much in my life I never thought I'd go this route, but now that I have I like it.  These are my versions of what Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, Christian Kane, Steve Carlson, Dave Boreanaz, and others would be like as kids in kids stories.

Book One:  Nap Time for Sammich
Rating:  G
Summary:  Sammich is tired and his big brother Dee helps him take a nap.
*I'm sorry I don't have any illustrations yet*

Nap Time for Sammich

Sammich yawns.  It’s the middle of the day and Sammich is tired.  It’s been hard playing with Dee, who runs around all day digging up bugs and chasing the birds that bathe in the fountain.  Sammich tries so hard to keep up, but now he’s sleepy and yawns once more.

Dee notices Sammich is sleepy by his droopy eyes and noisy yawns.  “Nap time Sammich.”  Dee laughs as he leads his brother to the house.

Sammich can hardly walk, he would sleep right here on the green grass if he could.

Dee can’t even get Sammich to his bed where he would be the most comfy.  Instead he takes him to the soft couch and sets him there while he runs to get a pillow and a blanket.

Sammich smiles at his older brother’s return. He snuggles into a ball with his pillow and covers up with the blue blanket.

Sammich falls instantly asleep and Dee stays by his side to make sure his little brother is safe.

When Sammich wakes up he finds his brother curled into a ball by the couch fast asleep.  It was nap time for Dee too.

Book Two:  Dinner Time for Dee
Rating: G
Summary:  Dad makes dinner.

Dinner Time for Dee

Dee’s tummy rumbled and grumbled.  He knew he was hungry.  He came inside from chasing the birds and digging for bugs.  A scent caught the air and Dee sniffed.  It was grilled cheese.

Dad was home and he smiled at Dee as he pulled himself up in a chair to the kitchen table.  He was small but bigger than Sammich who was already at the table grinning wide.

“Cheese, Dee.”  Sammich said when Dad put a big toasted, sandwich on his plate.

“It’s all melty.”  Dee said when he pulled his halves apart and the cheese stretched from one piece to the other.  Dee smiled his green eyes all sparkly in delight.

Dad joined them at the table with his three toasty sandwiches.  Sammich looked in awe at the pile of sandwiches Dad had.

“Oooooh.”  Sammich said and pointed at what Dad had.

“I’m a big guy Sammich.  I get more.”  Dad said and took a big bite.

“I’m big too.”  Dee pouted even as he stuffed his face with melted cheese.

“Dee is big.”  Sammich said smiling and proud of his older brother.

Dad laughed.

Dee ate his whole sandwich but was full.  He may be big but that sandwich was bigger than he thought.  Dee got down from the table and so did Sammich.  There was more time for bugs and birds before bed.
