Summary: Again my mind running wild for my own amusement.
Lois intently stared at the coffee machine and willed it to work but alas it was not to be as it puttered for a moment before shooting up a large puff of smoke. “What the f…” Lois began before she heard a deep chuckle from behind her.
A tall blonde haired man was trying to contain his laughter with a hand over his mouth. Lois raised an eyebrow to start in on the guy before an even taller man whacked him square in the chest. “What?” The first man looked at the second.
The second man sighed before running his hand through his thick dark hair. “I’m sorry I can’t apologise more for…that.” His eyes gestured to the other guy again.
The first guy continued to smirk until the penny dropped, “Hey?!” His confusion slowly spread on his face.
Lois smiled gently and nodded, “Hi, I’m Lois and what can I get for you?” Her gaze only fell on the dark-haired man.
“Hi Lois, I’m Sam this is…is my brother Dean.” Sam smiled gently.
Dean grumbled, “I don’t see why I’m the one getting messed with when Lois here can’t even turn the knobs the right way round.”
“What?” Both Sam and Lois asked as Dean shrugged, “I worked in a diner once and I know for a fact if you get anymore extracurricular with that you’re going to blow a gasket.”
Sam nodded dumbly, another thing he didn’t know about his brother. But Lois brushed her long blonde hair back, frowning against her own feeling of astonishment.
“Plus coffee makers aren’t all that different from impalas, very delicate.” Dean smirked as he remembered his car. Man he loved that thing.
“What model?” Lois asked as Dean pulled the coffee machine out before pushing several buttons.
“67’ Just rebuilt her myself.” Dean’s pride could be heard from where Sam stood at least 4 feet away. Nothing new there then, Sam thought.
“Nice, but gotta love the mustang GT 500, that is technological beauty.” Lois sighed as she remembered the general would never let her have one.
Dean looked up from the maker, “That is such a womanish looking car…way to pretty to offer a real good ride, see an impala is rough and ready.”
Lois raised an eyebrow at Dean’s innuendo, Sam laughed that probably for the first time in his life Dean had said something construable as sexually orientated and he didn’t know about it.
Dean flipped the wrench he had picked up, “But it gets bitchin’ points for the go fast racing strips.”
Lois flicked her gaze behind the two brothers as she saw her cousin Chloe approaching rapidly, “Hey Chloe.”
Chloe looked slightly frazzled, “Lois? What did you do to the coffee machine?”
Dean chuckled again, “Ask me what she didn’t do to it.”
Lois playfully threw a bread stick at Dean’s back. “Chlo, this is Sam…” Sam offered his hand to which Chloe took and shook warmly “…and that is…Dean.”
“Hey Dean when you’re done with that you know anything about computers?” Chloe asked as Dean pushed back the coffee machine as it whirled happily like the first day out of its packaging.
Dean glared humorously as he spoke, “Hey here is an idea , how about you ladies never ever touch a piece of tech ever again?” Dean asked as he motioned Sam to leave.
Lois feigned sickness and pressed her hand to her forehead, “Oh but Dean what about you offer of a rough and ready ride?”
“Well honey, I’m always around.” Dean left the two ladies with a devastating Winchester smile.
