Sam walked around the wreckage of the old house, pointing his flashlight at the various piles of debris. "Well I guess we made it a little too late on this one. Again." Sam looked at his watch. "If it follows the same pattern it has been then it should strike again around 2AM. That gives us about two hours to figure what this thing is and kill it."
Dean looked up from his home-made EVP reader. "This just doesn't make sense. I'm getting nothing on this thing. This level of damage just doesn't happen naturally without a whole lot of people noticing. I don't know about you but I didn't see any signs of construction equipment and there sure as hell wasn't a tornado tonight."
Sam continued inspecting the rubble at their feet. He stopped at a section of wall that was still partially standing. "There's no signs I can find of explosives. There aren't even burn marks. It's like somebody just kicked it over."
Dean snorted. "So we're looking for a giant? Come on Sam, even I know that giants aren't real. And if they were why in the hell would it only kick down random shitty abandoned warehouses in Silicon Valley?" Dean paused and squatted with his back to Sam. "Oh my God. Sam, I found something." He stood up quickly with something cupped in his hand with the other hand pointing his flashlight at it.
Sam rushed over. "What is it?"
"It's magic beans! We should plant them and climb the beanstalk that grows so we can kill the giant," Dean said with a laugh as he tossed the handful of dirt at Sam before walking away.
Sam scowled at Dean and held his flashlight under his chin while he brushed the dirt from his shirt. "Jerk," he muttered under his breath. Sam stopped brushing his shirt suddenly. "Dean? Did you make that footprint too?"
Dean who had walked away looked back at Sam. "Come on, I'm not falling for that."
"No seriously. It's huge. I'd say a size 16 at least," Sam said as he pointed his flashlight at the ground.
Dean walked over and lit the ground with his light too. "That's a big foot."
The pair used their flashlights to trace the trail that the large footprints made. It wound through the wreckage and eventually made it's way back out. They lost the tracks at the parking lot.
Dean looked over at Sam. "I'm just going to say it. Is it just me or does it look like some huge dude just walked through the building, bringing it down around him and just walking away?"
Before Sam had a chance to answer they heard several loud crashes in the distance.
Dean started for the Impala. "I guess he didn't take a lunch break tonight. C'mon Sam let's go."
Sam ran to the car and they jumped in. Dean started the car and took off toward the sound of demolition. It wasn't too hard to find the disturbance since a collapsing warehouse made a lot of noise. The car screeched to a stop just in time for Sam and Dean to see a huge guy in some kind of armor burst through a concrete wall. Cinder blocks and mortar exploded outward. He looked to be at least 8 feet tall. He was carrying something under his arm like a football. It looked some kind of high tech storage box. It was covered in lights, many of which were currently flashing an angry red.
Dean got out of the car and quickly drew his Colt. Sam followed with shotgun in hand.
"Hey...uh...Dean, I think this might be a little bit out of our league."
The giant stopped in front of the building and looked at them. The building slowly finished collapsing in on itself behind him.
Dean pointed his pistol at him. "Stop right there big guy. I'm afraid we're going to have to put a stop to your one man wrecking crew act."
"What are you doing Dean?" Sam hissed. "Do you think bullets are really going to hurt a guy that can run through concrete walls?"
Dean ignored him and focused on the giant. "Don't make me put a bullet in you Big Boy."
The giant laughed. "You really don't want to put a bullet through this containment chamber. I'll be fine but the rest of the state might not do so well."
"I won't miss Goliath. Just make sure you let me know if you smell the blood of an Englishman." Dean said with a smirk.
The large man stopped laughing. "Don't you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!" he roared as he began running toward them.
"Why the hell did you have to do that Dean?" Sam yelled as the two of them began shooting at form rushing toward them.
Thier bullets seemed to have no effect as the Juggernaut got closer. Finally they both leaped out of his path as he stiff armed the Impala out of the way like it was nothing. The car spun wildly just barely missing Sam as the huge man disappeared down the street with the piece equipment tucked under his arm like a flashing metal football.
Sam sat up on the ground and looked at Dean. "That was dumb."
Dean watched the man disappear into the night. "Yeah, I guess."
