So there I am with this Faye woman, right? She's not sure if she wants to jump through the portal, so we're doing a ritual that will let Ava come back without it (don't even ask, dude).
And it makes, uh.... a weird thing.
Which, as it turns out, only happens when you've met a blood-relative within the year. O_O
So i try to discreetly steal DNA samples. The spell shows it must be someone human, so I snag a few hairs from Sam, borrow Ed's toothbrush, use Harry's hairbrush, send off to Bobby for a few hairs (he's cool with rituals), get a sample from the lip of Sir's flask, steal Chuck's half-eaten muffin, and... well I kinda ran out of ways to be sneaky so I just asked Dean and Ash for sperm samples. They were cool with it!
Faye, however, was not. She looked at me in a frankly VERY judgmental way and asked me to show her back to the portal the first chance I got. FINE. I'M SORRY I'M NOT THAT BARE-CHESTED KATANA-GUY, OKAY?!
Anyway, the sample from John's flask came back positive. Which FREAKED ME THE FUCK OUT. Until Ash's... sample :/ came back with the exact same DNA on it. So it wasn't John's saliva I'd swabbed. It was Ash's.
I was confused enough, and it was time to take Faye back to the portal. But of course, right as I'm seeing her off I just pop in to check REALLY FAST and Bobby's results are in.
